Reconnect an ad platform
When a platform stops accepting Adplane's sign-in, reconnecting from your accounts page fixes it.
- The message
- Your Google Ads connection has expired. Reconnect at https://adplane.ai/accounts (takes ~30 seconds).
- Comes from
- Adplane, because the ad platform stopped accepting Adplane's sign-in for your login.
What it means
Adplane works through a sign-in that each ad platform gives it for your login. The platform can end that sign-in. Google does it occasionally, usually after a password change or a security check on its side. Meta connections expire on their own after about 60 days. Every platform does it when you remove Adplane's access in your account settings. Your campaigns keep running as they were. Only Adplane's access has stopped.
The other platforms say it in their own words: "Your Meta connection has expired or was revoked", "Your Microsoft Advertising sign-in expired or was revoked", "Your TikTok connection was revoked or is no longer valid". When Google's connection ends, Adplane also emails you.
How to fix it
Open your accounts page
Go to your accounts page. The platform that needs it says Reconnect needed.
Reconnect
Click Reconnect and sign in with the same account. On Google Ads, when every Google login needs it, the button is Reconnect Google Ads at the bottom of the card. When Google asks for Google Ads access, click Continue.
Ask again
Go back to your chat and repeat the request.
Two messages look similar but need no reconnect. "Google's sign-in service did not respond just now" is a short outage at Google: try again in a minute. "Meta refused this request" is Meta declining that one request, for example a missing role on the ad account or a policy to accept, and Meta's text after it says which. Reconnecting does not change it.
FAQ
Will reconnecting change my campaigns or settings?
No. Reconnecting renews Adplane's sign-in and nothing else. Your campaigns, the accounts you unchecked and the accounts you marked Read only stay as they were.
Will it happen again?
When the platform ends the sign-in again: on Google usually after a password change or a security check, on Meta after about 60 days, and on any platform if you remove Adplane's access in your account settings.
Do I need to add Adplane to Claude or ChatGPT again?
No. Your assistant's connection to Adplane is separate from Adplane's connections to your ad platforms. Reconnect the platform on your accounts page and keep using the same chat.
